My ADHD journey started when my son was diagnosed with ADHD.
It was a time of mixed bag of emotions, a range of conflicting, simultaneous emotions, ranging from relief and optimism to anger and sadness.
Comprehensive search about ADHD to understand and help a loved one introduced me to the complex, yet Brilliant world of the ADHD brain.
I have finally had an understanding and empathy for what he has been going through all those years but still unsure about how the future would be for him and how to keep the healthy balance within the family.
Acknowledgement was the first step but we needed guidance, support from a Professional.
After, mainly ‘The Problem and The Past Focused’, Not-ADHD-Friendly approaches from numerous professionals, we soon realised that he needed someone, specifically ADHD trained who would focus on possibilities to bring him forward to his full potential.
At that point I discovered *ADDCA, ADD Coach Academy in New York which inspired me to go back to school and become a certified ADHD Coach for Adults and Families.
Identifying and using my strengths when I was at my weakest was transformational for me!
Life is tougher for ADHDers but the exhaustion, stress and frustration of caring for and/or living with an ADHDer can be hard too.
I have found my passion in life.. Helping Adults and Families with ADHD, so they don’t have to go through all the struggles on their own..
It is hard work! Change takes time! New Habits need practice but I am here with you all the way.
Having lived as an ex-pat for over 20 years in different cultures made me a more adaptable individual, added strong characteristics to my life; cultural sensitivity, curiosity, flexibility, open mindedness and more importantly ‘respect’.
Whatever your background is, Wherever you are in your life and Wherever you want to go…!
I am here to listen and to hear you.. Without judgement…Without external agenda…
*The ADDCA is the global leader and pioneer in the specialty arena of ADHD Coach Training and Education. It is the first and largest comprehensive ADHD Coach Training Program fully accredited by ICF (International Coach Federation) and PAAC (Professional Association for ADHD Coaches).
Through acknowledgement and self-awareness, I become your ‘Thinking and Action Partner’.
My approach is a ‘Whole Person Holistic Approach’, looking at all elements of one’s life, from physical, emotional to social.
When we change one aspect of our lives, all others invariably shift too.
